Accuracy beats speed. It's faster to type 40 WPM accurately than 60 WPM with corrections. Train for accuracy first — speed comes naturally after.

Use all ten fingers. Left index on F, right index on J — most keyboards have bumps on these. Assign every key to a specific finger and never break that rule.

Don't look at your hands. Keep eyes on the screen. It feels painful at first but muscle memory kicks in within a week of consistent practice.

Practise daily, not in long binges. 15 minutes every day beats 2 hours on a Sunday. Consistency is everything for building typing muscle memory.
